What do you think about when you're feeling down?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 19, 2008:

I used (and sometims still do) to think dark thoughts, sad, down bringing.

Lately, I am also aware about the negative thoughts and of the awareness which is aware (thanks Eckhart Tolle).

When a thought is too insisting, I put it into inquiry (thanks Byrom Katie).

And what helps me too is to concentrate of some simple and beautiful details: a song, a piece of sky, a plant etc.
